![]() ![]() If others are saying that their TX turns smoothly, then something is definitely wrong with mine. Once the application downloaded above has been installed, open it up and then connect your wheel when prompted. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing or it's just simply defective. Download this and install it to your Windows PC. However, with the TS-PC in Advanced Mode, when I add my F1 Add On Wheel, it does not recognize any of the buttons, and shows 'Normal Mode'. The next day when I put more time in I started noticing this issue. With the 488 Challenge wheel installed on the base, the Thrustmaster Control Panel Software allows me to set the wheel to Advanced Mode from Normal Mode, with additional button mapping and such. I'm sure the wheel felt smooth when I was driving like this. The only slider I moved was engine vibration which I turned right down. As soon as it's powered up, no matter what settings I mess with I have this pebbly feeling in the wheel and when driving in ATS or ETS making slow corrections it will actually feel like it's moving from notch to notch. Example: Basic spring force where the wheel goes back to its center position. If I unplug the device and do the same thing the wheel turns smoothly. When the wheel is plugged in but I don't have a game started, if I turn the wheel slightly one direction or the other, it is not smooth. Do you have a TX? If you do can you tell me what it's like to turn your wheel slowly 45 degrees in each direction. ![]()
